Biography
Florence Ada (Brown) Keynes was born on 10 Mar 1861 in North Witchford, Cambridgeshire, England[1], daughter of John Brown and Ada Haydon Ford. Her birth was registered in Manchester, England [2]
Florence studied at Newnham College in Cambridge, and afterward became a council member, alderman, and mayor in the town of Cambridge. She published "By-ways in Cambridge" and "Gathering up the Threads: a study in Family Biography .[3]
