He came to the United States when 12 years of age. His life work has been freight transportation, first with the C.B. and Q.R.R. and then for 31 years as manager of transportation of the Chicago Board of Trade. Since his retirement in . 1945, they have lived at 9511 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, Fla. Anna, for about 15 years, or, until her second marriage was engaged In writing advertising In Chicago. In her last years of work, this took the form of syndicated articles for large savings banks.
