Mr. Brown married, March 14, 1873, Rosella, who was born August 31, 1855, in Wyoming, daughter of Silas and Elizabeth (Gress) Randall, and twelve children have been born to them: Elizabeth, Florence, Anna, deceased; Eva, Maud, Lavina, Margery V., Orpha G., Silas, James, Arthur G., and Floyd, deceased. Elizabeth married David Olmstead, of Pittston, Pennsylvania, a coal inspector.
Marriage Elizabeth married David Levitt Olmstead in 1903.
At the bride's home In Lackawanna, Rev. J. L. Race, pastor of the M. E. church at Rendham, last night pronounced the words making David Olmstead, of Parsonage street, Hughestown, and Elizabeth Brown, of Lackawanna, husband and wife. The impressive ceremony was performed at 8 o'clock in the parlor of the Brown residence, the contracting parties standing beneath an arch of roses, in the presence of relatives. The young couple were unattended. In white mulle, with lace trimming and white satin ribbon, the bride made a hand some picture. Following the ceremony, a wedding supper was served. For the present, Mr. and Mrs. Olmstead will reside with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Olmstead.

Ill for the past six months, Mrs. David L. Olmstead, respected resident of Hughestown, died yesterday at her home, 336 Parsonage street, that borough. Funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 from the home, with Rev. F. C. Kraft of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown, officiating. Burial will be In Marcy cemetery, Duryea. Born at Old Forge on June 1, 1872, Mrs. Olmstead was a member of a prominent family in that borough. Since her marriage to Mr. Olmstead in 1903 she had resided in Hughestown, where she acquired numerous friendships. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Besides her husband she is survived by these children: Mrs. Rosella Everett, at home; Mrs. Harry Ott, Ashley; David, Inkerman; Mrs. Thomas Master and Kenneth, Milltown, N. J.; seven grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: James Brown, Mrs. Roy. Jenkins, Mrs. Orshu Moses, Old Forge; Mrs. Florence Richards and Mrs. Fred Wilson. Rendham: Cyrus Brown, Dupont; Mrs. Howard Smith, West Pittston; Arthur Brown, Scranton, and Mrs. Harry Haven, Johnson City.
