Biography

She married Daniel Helper in October, 1817, in Rowan County NC. They were the parents of seven children, the youngest of whom was the author Hinton Rowan Helper (1829-1909)[1]. Daniel Helper died in November 1830.

In 1835 Sarah married John Mullican (1811-1876), with whom she had three additional children.
