Biography

Rev George Brown, son of Andrew Brown, was born or baptised on 6 December 1820 in Tarves, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[1]

George married May Smith Shepherd on 16 August 1854 in Cruden, Aberdeen, Scotland.[2]

In the 1871 census George (age 50), Minister Of Free Church, was the head of household at 13 Dryden Pl, Edinburgh St Cuthberts, Midlothian.[3]

In the 1891 census George (age 70), Retired Free Church Went, was the head of household at Longhaven House, Cruden, Aberdeenshire.[4]

Rev George Brown died on 24 June 1900.[5][6]
