Mary Ann Brown was born in about 1816 in Glossop, Derbyshire, England.

She married John Seddon on 19 May 1833 at St Mary's church, Eccles, Lancashire.^[1]

In 1851 she was with her wife, 2 children and Mary Ann Seddon, her granddaughter in No 1 Court, Liptons Buildings, Greengate, Salford, Lancashire. ^[2]

In 1861 she was with her husband and son in Robinsons Buildings, Salford. ^[3]
