Biography

Eleanor was born 22 July 1913 in Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.^[1] She was baptized there on 23 October 1913 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Ellis B. Burgess.^[2] She was the daughter of Elmer Gillespie and Anna Elvira Carlson.

She married William Gordon Montgomery circa 1946.^[3]

Eleanor died on 11 August 1987 in Fresno, California,^[4] and she is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Howell, Michigan.^[5]
