Sarah Ann Brown, born 25 Mar 1807, was a daughter of Denison Brown and Mary "Polly" Robbins. In birth order she was their sixth child.

She married 23 Sep 1830 at Bridgewater, New York, Oliver R. Babcock, with whom she had 4 children ^[1]:
