Mary Brown was the daughter of Thomas Brown, a farmer in Hartshorne, Derbyshire, and his wife Jane Parker.

She was baptised in Hartshorne, Derbyshire, on 14 February 1759.[1]

She married John Glover on 10 October 1780 in Hartshorne, Derbyshire.[2]
