Biography

Evaline was born in 1876 in Utah. She passed away in 1947. ^[1]

The 1910 USA Census shows Fred Merrill(35) with his wife of 13 years, Phoebe E Merrill (33) living at Lehi Ward 3, Utah, Utah, United States. Their marriage had produced five children and all are living: Foster B (12), Josephine (10), Fred L (8), Evaline (1y 11m), and Elizabeth (8m). All are shown as born in Utah, except Fred, who was born in England, as were his parents. He states he emigrated to the USA in 1892 and has been naturalized. Eveline's father was born in Ohio, and her mother in Utah. Fred works as a plasterer on his own account, working in house. ^[2]

The 1920 USA Census shows Fred (45) and Eveline P Merrill (43) living at Lehi Ward 3, Utah, Utah, United States, with their children: Foster B (21), Josephine (19), Frederick L (18), Evelyn (11), Elizabeth (10), John P (4y 8m), Louise (2y 9m) and Kieth W (6m). All are shown as born in Utah, including Fred, but both his parents are recorded as born in England. Eveline's father was born in Ohio, and her mother in Utah. Fred and Foster both work as a plasterer, in house. Josephine works as a chemist in a sugar factory, and young Frederick works as a labourer, also in a sugar factory. ^[3]
