Biography
Charles was born in 1858. He is the son of Hiram Brown and Alice Stuart. He married Alice A. Smith. Charles was a lawyer; District Attorney of Allegany Co., N.Y.; U.S. Attorney for the Western District of N.Y.; elected Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York in 1906 for 14 years.
