Biography

Bertie was born in 1897 in Wellington, Somerset, the son of Henry Brown and Eliza (Gillard) Brown.^[1][2][3]

1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 Bertie was living in Lark Hill Lane, Yeovil, Somerset with his parents Henry and Eliza, and his siblings James,Thomas, Susan, Frederick and Clara. Henry's uncle John Martin was also living there.^[4]

Bertie married Emily Pollard and the marriage was registered in the 3rd quarter 1925 in Bridgwater, Somerset.^[5]

Bertie died aged 74 and his death was registered in the 3rd quarter 1972 in Bath, Somerset.^[3]
