Biography

Arthur was born in 1875. He passed away in 1956. He was musically gifted, singing solos in church and at local events, duets with his brother, Lewis Freeman Brown, "Freeman", and Arthur organized a large mandolin group that played concerts in their local area towns. He was employed at a papermill, and had a large workshop in his Plainwell basement where he made furniture. He was remembered by his grandson, Richard Lloyd Brown, as a gentle, quiet man and a wonderful father and grandfather.
