Frances "Frankie" J. Brown was born October 9, 1856 in Sperry, Clayton, Iowa. She was a daughter of William Slocomb Brown and Sarah Ann McCracken.

Frances "Frankie" J. Tuck died on February 3, 1930 in Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa.[9] She was buried in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa, United States.[10]
