Mrs. J. R. Brown, a Shamrock resident since 19OO, died Tuesday evening at her home. She was 82. Funeral services will he held at 4 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist church with Rev. J. K. Byers officiating. Burial will be at the cemetery under direrection of the Richardson Funeral
Mrs. Brown was born in Arkansas June 16, 1876. She had been a member of the First Baptist i church since 1895 and was a past member of the Rebekan Lodge,
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. W. Willis of Curryville; Mrs. C. A. Thompson of Ft. Worth: Mrs. Loraine Nelson of Olendale, Calif.; and Mrs. Oarland Abernathy of Twitly: two sons, Lowell I Duncan Oswalt in Calif., and A. JC. Brown of Shamrock; one sister, Mrs. A. M.
