Marie Caroline (Brown was born to Louis Brant Brown and Emeline Andrepont in Opelousas, Louisiana in 1861.[1]

She married Villeneuve Pitre in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas in 1876.[2]

Children of the marriage:
  1. Octave Pitre (1881)
  2. Onezime Pitre (c.1883)
  3. Melina Pitre (c.1885)[3]

Vlleneuve Pitre died c.1887.

Marie Caroline Brown, veuve Pitre, married John Boone in Opelousas in 1889.[4]
