Rev. Horace S. Brown, 86, of LaFollette, died Friday evening at LaFollette Community Hospital. He was a retired miner, a Veteran of World War I, and had been a minister of the Gospel for 40 years.
He is survived by his son, Grover Brown of LaFollette; daughter, Mrs. Martha Lowe of Briceville; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 7 from Martin's Chapel by the Rev. Junior Thacker. Burial was in Campbell Memorial Gardens.
