Note He gives a birth date of 1797 in the 1851 & 1861 Censuses but the age at death puts his birth back to 1792. Records of a 1797 birth in Middlesex seem elusive (as is Bristol Street), but the alternative baptisms of 13 Mar 1791 at St Martin in the Fields^[4], 11 Apr 1791 at the Scotch Church Swallow Street, 22 May 1793 at the Roman Catholic chapel in Moorfields^[3] and 14 Aug 1793 at St James Piccadilly are all possible.
