Mary was born about 1706. She is the daughter of William Browne . [1]

Mary was probably born about 1702/3, the daughter of William Brown(e), Gentleman of Albemarle Co., NC and Martha Braswell.

Bertie Co. Records: BC C-91, dated 3 March 1728/29. James Millikin & Henry Gustin to Barnabe Mackinnie…15 pounds for 150 acres , part of 640 acres patent to Willliam Brown 1 April 1713. This 150 acres sold by Gideon Gibson and wife, Mary, to Millikin & Gustin. Commonly called ?Walnut Forte Survey: adj. Joseph Joyner, William Brown. wit: Thomas Craghill, William Dewitt (?). May Court 1729. Robert Forster C/C (This is without a doubt the William Browne I associate with the Indian Trader… his daughter married Gideon Gibson)

I may be confused, but it 'seems' to me that this Mary Anne Browne has become confused with another of the same name. I don't think this is the same woman who was married to Gideon Gibson.

Mary married Trader Gideon Gibson of the Congaree River on October 22, 1728. Together they had the following children: Gideon Gipson; Jordan Gibson; John Gibson IV; Mary Holland Riddle Gibson; Luke Gibson; Daniel Gibson; Samuel Gibson; Sarah Jane Gibson; Rev. John, Stephan, and Ludicy were born after mother's child bearing years were over. Most likely grand children, or a different wife if mention in Gideon's will.
