Robert Browne, Esq., Chancellor of the Exchequer, and son of Sir john Browne, Knight, by his 1st wife Alice daughter and heir of William Swineshed, [1] married Isabel sister and heir of Sir John Sharpe, Knight, [2] and daughter of Christopher Sharpe, Esq. of Coggeshall, Essex. [2] They had a son Edward Browne, and two daughters, Isabel (Browne) Quarles and Olive (Browne) Overton. [3]

This Robert Browne was NOT Chancellor of the Exchequer. Sir Thomas Browne (Browne-206) was Chancellor of the Exchequer, but they are not related and should not be confused. Please remove that reference from his bio. Thanks.
