Anne Browne was born in Aldeby, Norfolk, England on October 13, 1799,[1]she was the daughter of Robert Browne and Sarah Denton. In 1841 she was living with her family in Haddiscoe[2]
In addition to the children listed she had a son Francis,[3] who was staying with his grandmother, Anne's mother Sarah, at the time of the census. They were also in Haddiscoe.
By 1871 Anne was living with her daughter and son-in-law and her son's daughter, who was also living permanently in that household. Anne acted as housekeeper for them.[4]
She was still living with that family ten years later at the age of 81[5]
Ann died in the Erpingham Registration district in the first quarter of 1894, Her age is given as 90, but in fact she was 94. [6]
