MARY TUTHILL was born c 1722 in Oysterponds, on Long Island New York, the daughter of John Tuthill III & Elizabeth (Browne) Tuthill. She married Benjamin BROWNE there on 2 Apr 1739. He was born c 1720 and died 29 Apr 1774.[1]
Research Notes
I think Benjamin not Mary died 29 April 1774, Tuttle's book shows him remarrying in 1770 Abigail Wells widow of Simeon Benjamin.
Benjamin and Mary were first cousins, his mother and her father were siblings.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
