Samuel was born on 10 September 1875 at Wellsford, North Albertland, New Zealand. He is the son of Edward Browne and Eliza Fransham. [1]
He married Mabel Gubb about 1900. [2]
He died on 15 September 1922 aged 48 years old in the flooded river near Whakapara, Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand. [3]
