Newspaper Report: Mrs. J. Kelly, of Woodville, reminds me that Mr. and Mrs. Denis Madigan, of Mintaro, reared a family of 12 — four sons and eight daughters. Seven of these daughters entered the school teaching profession in various parts of South Australia and New South Wales! 'Mr. and Mrs. Madigan were my grandparents, and incidentally my mother (the late Mrs. McCormack, of Percyton) was one of those teachers.' she says. [3]
