Biography

Euphemia was born in 1858. She was the daughter of Stewart Browne and Louise Waite.

In 1881, at the age of 22, she was living with her aunt Harriette Browne in Above Derwent, Cumberland, England. Her aunt was 58 years of age and derived income from Dividends and Land. She employed 3 servants.

She never married and passed away in 1918 at the age of 59 in Cumberland, England. Probate for Euphemia Stewart Browne was granted on 14 October 1918 with the sole beneficiary named as 26 year old Edmund Stewart Stanley, who was her nephew and the son of Euphemia's half sister Katherine Stewart Browne (Stanley).
