Biography

Christian was the daughter of Nicholas Webb of Kingswood. Her birthdate has been estimated based on that of her husband.

She married John Browning of Cowley, the eldest son and heir of Richard Browninge and Elizabeth Parsons. They had three children - John, Mary and Ursula.^[1]One source shows a marriage date of about 1568 in Gloucester, England.^{[citation needed]}

In 1613, John Browning, gentleman, acted as a witness in a matrimonial case presented before the Diocesan Court of Gloucester. He was aged 52 at the time and his wife Christian was aged 49.^[2].

She died in England in 1637.^{[citation needed]}
