Anthony was born in 1945. He was the son of Lawrence Brubaker and Eva Myers. He passed away in 2010.[1]
Anthony "Tony" Brubaker, 64, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away after a short illness on Monday, April 26, 2010. He was born on October 17, 1945 in Beaverton, to Lawrence & Eva (Myers) Brubaker. He married Shelby Malosh on November 27, 1965 in Gladwin. She preceded him in death in 2002. He had lived in Gladwin County his entire life and was employed at McLain in Ludington, Michigan as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church as well as F.O.E. Albright Shores Aerie 3655.
He is survived by his daughters: Missy (John) Caffrey of Gladwin & Sheri (Pete) Dodge of Beaverton; grandchildren: Andrea Dodge of Beaverton, Samantha Caffrey of Gladwin; brother: Lloyd (Mary) Brubaker of Beaverton; brother: Bernard (Elaine) Brubaker of Midland; sister: Mary Patricia Milks of Beaverton; brother: Charles (Jean) Brubaker of Beaverton; brother: Deland (Joyce) Brubaker of Midland; brother: Steve Brubaker & friend Louis of Midland; sister: Sarah (Pat) Cabala of Freeland: sister: Elizabeth Shea of Gladwin: sister: Leah (Doug) Martindale of Delton, MI; sister: Elva (Durand) Gardener of Harrison: sister: Grace (Dirk) McKimmy of Beaverton; brother: Dennis (Judy) Brubaker of Beaverton; and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: wife: Shelby; and brother; Floyd Brubaker.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, April 29, 2010, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin, Michigan. Rev. Fr. John Cotter will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 28, 2010 from 12 noon-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
