Robert, son of Peter Bruce and Margery (Lamb) Bruce, was born in 1826 and passed away in 1903 at Richmond, Victoria, Australia.

Robert was born about 1825. Robert Bruce b 20 Feb 1826, Kettins, Dundee, Angus, Scotland, son of David Bruce ship steward and Marjory Lamb.

He passed away in 1903 at the age of 76. [1] “Bruce.—On the 19th July, at No. 2 Baker-street, North Richmond, Robert Bruce, sen., of the late firm of R. Bruce and Sons, Carlton, and dearly beloved husband of Mary Ann Bruce, an old and respected resident, aged 78 years.”[The Age, 20 July 1903]
