William Bruce was born in 1822, the son of William Bruce and Harriet Allardyce.[1]
William was a bachelor, farmer of 47 acres aged 54 yrs and married Mary Murray, aged 34 yrs, daughter of John Murray and Sarah Ogston, on the 16th of November 1876 at St Fergus, Banff. They had at least four children, William 1878, Harriet Garden 1880, John Murray 1882, George Garden 1884.
