Biography
Jane was born about 1805. Her father was William Bruce, deceased by 1837, at the time of her marriage, when she was a servant in Ouseburn. In the 1841 census Jane (age 25) was in Cut, All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.[1] In the 1851 census Jane (age 40) was the wife of Robert Potts in Ripponden St, Byker, Northumberland, England.[2] In the 1881 census Jane (age 71) was the wife of Robert Potts in Thompson St, Byker, Northumberland, England.[3] She passed away about 1884.
