Elizabeth Ann Bruce was born on March 29, 1860, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, David, was 35, and her mother, Mary, was 32. She had three brothers and six sisters. She died on February 16, 1922, in Buckfield, Maine, at the age of 61.[1][2]
In 1881, Elizabeth was age 21.
