Biography

Emerance (Emertienne) Brule was born on 15 September 1849, in Saint-Paulin, Maskinongé, Quebec, Canada. Parents: Joseph Augustin Brûlé, was 44 and Marie-Helene Elliott, was 31 when Emerance was born.

She married Michel Lafond on 9 September 1867, in Saint-Paulin, Maskinongé, Quebec, Canada. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. She lived in Belle Prairie, Belle Prairie Township, Morrison, Minnesota, United States in 1880. She died on 17 September 1930, in Sandpoint, Bonner, Idaho, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Sandpoint, Bonner, Idaho, United States.
