Elisha K. Brumfield, born December 1,
1840 and died November 25, 1911. Elisha married Nancy Fortenberry Willis , daughter of Narcissus and Calvin K. Fortenberry.
He had three children by this first marriage. (See Narcissus Simmons Fortenberry Line). He then married Sarah Corean (Corrine) Simmons. Elisha and Corean lived just east of Tylertown, Mississippi and are buried at New Zion Church i n Walthall County.
Elisha served as a private, Company K, 39th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry;
CSA during the Civi l War.

Addie Angeline Brumfield born Apri l 16, 1883, married Robert Monroe Fortenberry. Addie died February 22, 1950. Robert Monroe die February 10, 1950. He was the son of George Washington Fortenberry (Wash). Addie and Monroe lived on a farm near Tylertown, Mississippi in Walthall County. They are buried i n the Tylertown cemetery.
Ella Edith Brumfield,-daughter of Corean and Elisha , born Apri l 16, 1886, died August 26, 1941. She-is buried at Tylertown, Mississippi. She married Jesse L. Simmons, son of Robert L. Simmons, on December 25, 1910. They lived near his father's old home place at old Simmonsville and operated a farm and country store. Jesse lived in this Simmonsville community.
Lucy Leota Brumfield, daughter of Corean and Elisha , was born December 11, 1887. She married Walter Lewis, who died February 18 1917. Walter was the son of Joe Lewis. Lucy and Walter lived on a farm in the Knoxo Community in Walthall County, Mississippi.
Sarah Brumfield, born July 14, 1890, died January 1, 1937. She married Luther Alford, son of John Griff Alford of Clifton, Louisiana. Sarah and Luther lived at Clifton where he had farming interest.
Albert Davis Brumfield, born Apri l 27, 1892, married Ellis Blackwell, daughter of Charlie Blackwell. They lived on a farm in the old Brumfield home at Tylertown, Mississippi until i t was destroyed by fire . They lived in Tylertown where Albert had farming interest and had been in charge of the County Court House and Jail.
