Survivors include his wife, Alice Maynard Brumfield; two daughters, Gloria Willis and husband, Oscar and Mary Etta Thacker and husband Mark; three sisters, Cora Lee Smith and Nora Etta Adkins and Sylvia Gould; five brothers, Arvel Brumfield, Tim Brumfield, Estel Brumfield Emitt Brumfield and Roger Brumfield. Burial February 7, 2001 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova.
