Ellison (Brumley) Dawson was involved in the westward expansion of the USA. See Westward Ho!.

Early Life

Ellis was born about 1765 in Virginia to the parents foDaniel Brumley and Elizabeth Oliver. and was raised in Virginia till her early twenty's.

1782, Northumberland, Virginia. Census shows Ellison is living with her parents and two other siblings in Northumberland Virginia.[1]

Kentucky

Ellison moved with her family to Kentucky some time before 1792. And settled in Woodford Co. Kentucky.

Marriage

She married Richard Dawson June 26, 1790, Woodford, Kentucky.[3] They were said to have 10 children (but could only find documents on two)
