Birth* Colonel Benton Brummitt was born on 4 April 1887 at Hickory, Grundy, Missouri. (Witness)

Census He appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 Jackson Twp., Livingston, Missouri, in the household of Thomas Benton Brummitt and Elizabeth Jane (Lizzie) Curtis; ED 100, sheet 7B, occupation farmer, owned farm, married 19 years, 8 children, 8 living, 2 already out of the house and names unknown.[1]

Marriage* Colonel Benton Brummitt married Ethel Loney on 6 September 1910 at Trenton, Grundy, Missouri.[2]

DraftWW1* On 5 June 1917 Colonel Benton Brummitt registered for the draft at Hickory, Grundy, Missouri; at the time, he was employed by himself as a farmer, wife & 3 children, described as tall, slender, gray eyes, dark brown hair.[3]

Death* He died in 1955[4]; buried at Coy Cemetery in Livingston County.[5]
