Jeremiah was born in 1760 in White Plains, New York.
He was a Silversmith and a Loyalist and because of this he decided to move to Canada and settled in Saint-John, New Brunswick. This is where he made his home.
Jeremiah married at South Salem Church, Westchester County, NY, on March 30, 1780 to Elizabeth Dickenson.
According to Thomas William Brundage,[1] Jeremiah Brundage, b. 1760. d/ amte 4/16/1816 St. John, New Brunswick, silversmith and lacksmith, res. Bedford, NY, joined Royal Army spring 1781, served 4 mo in light horse troop, his property (tools) confiscated and sold for 29 pounds. Went to St. John NB on transport Mercury Nov 1783 w/wife + 1 child. (Child may have been Thomas Brundage, blacksmith, administrator with widow Elizabeth of Jeremiah's estate 1816). Grantee of Carleton (St. John West.). m 3/30/1780 at Salem, NY to Elizabeth Dickinson, b. 1763, d. 1821 St. John.
