Biography
Joseph Brunelle was born and baptized 4 September 1867 in Saint-Didace to Antoine Brunelle and Rose Gagné. His godparents were Maxime Pelerin and Adéline Gagné.[1][2][3]
He first married with Vitaline Brissette on 8 Nov 1897 in St-Justin[4]
Aucun enfant du mariage. Vitaline décède aux États-Unis en 1900 et est inhumée 3 jours plus tard à St-Didace.[5]
Joseph Brunelle, veuf de Vitaline Brissette, se remarie le 25 novembre 1901 avec Mathilda Coutu à St-Didace[6]
À noter que les dates et âges des recensements sont erronnées, il n'y a pas de Wilfrid / Wilfred dans la famille, mais bien Henri, la date de janvier 1904 est erronnée sur le recensement 1911, il n'y a pas de tel baptême.

Joseph Brunelle, journalier, époux de Mathilda Coutu, décède le 19 septembre 1928 et est inhumé le 22 à St-Didace, l'acte lui donnant 60 ans. Cités présents aux obsèques sont son épouse Mathilda et ses fils Ernest et Henri, qui tous trois signent l'acte.[9][10]
