My maiden name is Brunner. I am looking for relatives named Brunner, Gray, Carey, and Buivydas. I hope to add more as I discover more. I don't know when the Brunners came here. The original Gray (Hugh) seems to have come to New York around 1835. The Careys may have come earlier, and had relatives in Pennsylvania. Family stories say that one of the Carey ancestors fought and died in the Civil War. William and his brother John, their father, and William's son, Francis, were all NYPD. William married Mary (Mamie) Gray.
