John R. Brunner
John R. Brunner, 79, Pendelton, died Thursday at Community Hospital, Anderson.
Born August 19, 1912, in Fortville, he was the son of John C. and Lelah M. (Eakes) Brunner.
Survivors include sons, Joseph Brunner, Homer, Alaska and Philip Brunner, Redwood City, Calif.; brothers, James Brunner, Fountaintown and the Rev. Jack Brunner, Ingalls; daughter, Aletha Brunner and Alice Wallace, both of Pendleton; sister, Jane Ferrill, Fortville; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Dill) Brunner in 1973; son, Steve Brunner in 1968; daughter Julie Brunner in 1947; sister Georgia Bown; and brother, Richard "Dick" Brunner.
Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, near Fortville.
