Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Looking to make more connections or find more information about an ancestor but not sure how to do that? Try categorizing your profiles.

Not sure what to put into a biography? Here are some Bio Ideas. Also, make sure that the biographies match WikiTree’s Styles and Standards.

If you come across an unresponsive manager, we have a process for those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!!

Hi Agneray, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Why don't you stop by the Acadians project, (currently led/coordinated by Roland Arsenault to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are interested!

Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!

Hi Agneray

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree!! Thank you for volunteering,? and we hope that you will find relatives here on WikiTree. If not?,? we hope that you will add them to our shared tree?.

Have fun, enjoy the site and don't forget to ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.

Come join the conversation on the G2G forum with the Question of the Week!! This week we’re asking We've all got one - who's YOUR favorite ancestor and why?

If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a great bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

Thanks, Dorothy

Hello Agneray,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
