Biography

George A Brunt was enumerated as son of the head of household in Beat 2, Liberty Chapel, Attala County, Mississippi for the June 8, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as at school, born April 1889 in Mississippi and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head George W Brunt, wife Elizabeth Brunt, daughter Georgia L Brunt, daughter Exie Brunt, son Odis N Brunt and hired Jessee May.[1]

Amos G Brunt was enumerated as head of the household in Beat 2, Attala County, Mississippi for the United States Census, 1910. Also included in the household is wife Kate Brunt.[2]

George Amous Brunt registered for military service in this June 5, 1917 United States World War I Draft Registration Card. His birth is listed as April 3, 1889 in Ethel, Mississippi. His address is R 1, French Camp, Mississippi. His occupation was farming. He is noted as having a wife and two children under twelve. He is tall of height and slender with gray eyes and black hair as seen in this image of the original form.[3]

George A Brunt was enumerated as head of the household in Beat 2, Attala County, Mississippi for the April 15, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1890 in Mississippi and married. He was first married at the age of nineteen. He was an owner and a farmer on a general farm as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Kate L Brunt, son Basco Brunt, son Roscoe Brunt, daughter Luetta Brunt, daughter Florilla Brunt, daughter Effie D Brunt and daughter Gwendolin Brunt.[4]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[5] George Amos Brunt is buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Attala County, Mississippi.[6]
