Mary Margaret Brusha was born in Aug 1829 in Maryland, USA as the third child of Joseph Brusha and Nancy Spencer. She had three siblings, namely: Joseph, Jacob James, and John. She died on 12 Mar 1900 in Unknown. When she was 20, she married James Oliver Riley, son of John Thomas Riley and Catherine Richards, on 25 Sep 1849 in Pickaway, Ohio, United States. When she was 39, she married Barney Wilderman on 01 Nov 1868 in Holt, Missouri, USA. When she was 44, she married William Miller in 1874 (according to 1900 census).

• Mary Catherine Riley was born on 24 Feb 1851 in Pickaway County, Ohio, USA. She died on 01 Aug 1931 in Huntington Park, Los Angeles, California, USA. She married Andrew Miller on 13 Dec 1866 in Holt County, Missouri, USA.
• Jacob Riley was born in 1853 in Ohio, USA. He died on 01 Apr 1906 in Pike, Pike, Illinois, United States.
• Thomas Jefferson Riley was born in 1856 in Missouri, USA. He died before 1900 in Unknown.
• Armincy Riley was born in 1859 in Nebraska, USA. She died before 1900 in Unknown (according to Mary's 1900 census).
• John Oliver Riley was born on 12 Mar 1862 in Richardson County, Nebraska, USA. He died on 22 May 1943 in Crescent City, Del Norte, California, USA (Age: 81). He married Emma Sharkey on 11 Aug 1887 in Crawford, Lyons, Kansas. He married Mary Elizabeth Lively in 1911.

Barney Wilderman and Mary Margaret Brusha had no children.

1870 Census of Dallas, Missouri shows the family Wilderman. Head is Barney, with wife Margaret. Sons are all Riley, names Jacob, Jefferson, Armincy and John.

1900 Census of Wagoner Creek Nation, states Margaret Miller was born in Aug 1829 in Maryland. Her parents were born in Germany. It states she has been married for 26 years and has had a total of 5 children, 2 of which are living. Merging this information with other information makes James one of the children living. It is possible her child Mary Catherine died in 1931. She would have been the second living child. These two living children (and a total of 5 children) make it unlikely that James Edward Riley is actually a brother to John. James would have been born around the time Margaret and William were married. He does not show up in the other census records. It is possible he is a nephew to John O. Riley.
