Corvan was born in 1879. He was the son of Agnes and Lewis K Bryan.
He registered for the WWI Draft 1917-1918.
Corvan was employed as an Engineer in Philadelphia with a Textile Company owned by John M Schwel & Sons .
He married Margaret Neely an immigrant from Ireland in 1901. Margaret and Corvan settled at Bringhurst Street in Philadelphia and had one known son in their marriage Corvan S Bryan Jr born 1904.[1]
In the 1930's Corvan was employed as a Custodian at a J S Jenks Public School, Philadelphia.
Corvan Jr married in 1931 to Ida Ruth Whiteman at Gettysburg, Adams, PA. [2]
In the 1940 Census Margaret and son Corvan Jr are living at Franklin, Adams, Pennsylvania and have a boarder Merle Miller. Corvan gave the name George C Bryan as person most likely to know his whereabouts in the WWII Draft.
Corvan Bryan died a Widower at the Home for Indigent in 1950 aged 75.
