George Bryan was baptised on 8 September 1814 in Evenlode in Gloucestershire.[1] His parents were George Bryan and Ann Clemans.

George (bachelor of Chipping Norton, farmer) married Ann Jones (spinster) on 9 November 1837 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.[2] The witnesses were William Neal and Mary [Englsley]. The couple had the following children, all baptised in Evenlode:
Sarah Bryan was baptised on 14 October 1838.[3] Sarah later lived in Warwick and worked as a laundress.
?Jane Bryan was baptised on 28 April 1847.[7] She was possibly buried 27 May 1847 in Evenlode. Jane and Elizabeth were possibly twins, and the reason Jane was baptised two weeks earlier was perhaps due to her being unwell.
