Biography

Edward was born in 1865. He was the son of Edward Bryan and Mary Moore. He passed away in 1949.

He was the General Freight Agent for the Illinois Central R.R. with headquarters at Memphis, Tennessee.

The many friends of Mr. E. K. Bryan, Jr., who live in New Bern will be glad to learn of his continued promotion and success in his chosen vocation.

Mr. Bryan has a very thorough knowledge of railroads and the shipping business. For sometime he has been the general freight and passenger agent of the Wrightsville and Tennille Railroad Co. which is a progressive line of Georgia, and on February 10th he was appointed claim agent.

In the future he will perform the duties of both offices, with headquarters at Dublin, Ga.
