Amanda was born 22 July 1839 in Ohio to John Bryant and Phoebe Conklin.^[1] The Bryant family was living in Dresden in 1850.^[2]

Amanda married James McFarland. They were living in Cass Township in 1880,^[3] 1900,^[4] and 1910.^[5]

Amanda died 27 January 1910 in Cass Township. She was 80 years old.^[6]
