Biography

James Bryant was a Freemason.

Obituary: CENTRAL SQUARE - Services for James G. Bryant, 88, of Williamstown who died recently at an Oswego nursing home after a long illness, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Amboy Center United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square.

Mr. Bryant, a life resident of Williamstown, had retired as a dairy farmer, and was a member of Amboy Methodist Church.

He was also a member of Amboy Masonic Lodge 650. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth McCaffrey of Bernhards Bay; a son William of Williamstown; a brother Harry of Williamstown; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bisbo of West Monroe and Mrs. Ellen Webb of Bernhards Bay; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.

Contributions may be made to the Amboy Masonic Lodge.
