Anthony (25) married Linda Gail Schaefer (20) (born on March 11, 1948 in Chattanooga, TN; daughter of Edward Schaefer Jr and Mary Elizabeth (Duncan) Schaefer) on November 11, 1968 in Ringgold, Catoosa, Georgia. Their daughter was Tonya Nadine Bryant (1970– ).

Anthony died on February 20, 2022 in Fort Payne, DeKalb, Alabama, United States, aged 78.

Obituary for Anthony Carson Bryant Anthony Carson Bryant, age 78 of Rainsville, AL, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was a retired carpenter and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Pathway Baptist, but has recently been attending Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Watson “Junior” Quinn Bryant; grandparents, William Ernest and Minnie Lee Correll; daughter, Tammy Kay Bryant and brother, Jackie Bryant. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Louise C. Brown; wife, Linda G. Bryant; daughter, Tonya N. Bryant; step-son, Eugene A. Morton, III; brothers, Ronald G. Bryant (Brenda) and Lacy R. Brown; sister, Cindy Bryant Crafton (Steve); grandchildren, Tiffanie R. Morton and Anthony E. Morton; nephew, Kevin D. Bryant; several cousins, extended family and many friends. The Funeral Service will be 1pm Saturday in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5pm until 8pm Friday in the funeral home parlor. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army or the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
