Angeline C. Bryant was born January 25, 1825 in Chelsea, MA. She married James D. Burgess May 24, 1849. Their 6 yo daughter died Dec. 6, 1860 of an unknown cause. The couple had 4 children who lived, however on Jan. 25, 1860, a female child was stillborn at Malden (MA) Hospital. By 1860 Angeline was living alone according to the census. In the 1865 census, she is shown as living with two of her young children, James H, 14, and Edward W., 6.
In 1870, Angeline married B. Bruce Dyer, an auctioneer from Boston, born in Providence, RI.
On Dec. 1, 1897, at 72 years old, she married Samuel Oakman (76 yo) originally from Marshfield, MA. Angeline passed away Aug. 24, 1905 in Cheshire, MA. She was buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA.
